| Executive Councilor Ray Burton and Intern Ben Kane of Plymouth State University attended the Caregiver Support Group meeting for families of patients with long term illnesses at Community Health & Hospice on April 18, 2005. Councilor Burton commended the caregivers for their dedication and listened to their concerns. Caregiver Al Armstrong said, "We want people in our government to understand that when one person gets sick, two people need help." Bob Ierardi (not in the photo) added, "It is important to keep people living at home--but we need Support Services to make it possible." | ||
